You’ve landed the internship or plan to have one secured soon. How do you prepare for it and make sure you get the most from your summer experience?

Hear from a panel of students giving their best tips and advice on making the most of your internship. The conversation will include working with supervisors, taking initiative, what to do when you make a mistake or don’t know how to do an assigned task, organizing your work, preparing for and ending your internship strong, and more! There will be time for your questions as well.

Field Guide for Geography Students

Presented by the Center for Careers and Internships and cosponsored by academic departments, Field Guides bring alumni back to campus to share knowledge and experience related to their post-Middlebury careers and professional lives with current students.

On April 15/16 Middlebury graduates working in Geography will come to campus virtually for the Geography Field Guide. Thursday evening, alumni will participate in a panel. Friday morning, our alumni guests will hold one-on-one chats with students.

Tom Michaud serves as President and CEO of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, an investment bank specializing in the financial services sector. Since joining the firm in 1986 as a credit analyst in the firm’s training program, he has spent 35 years building the KBW franchise and leading many of its businesses. Tom co-led the firm’s rebuilding efforts following 9/11 and in 2006 co-led KBW’s IPO.

Interview Prep for Seniors: Remote Oratory Coaching

Working with our friends at Oratory Now, we have developed and refined an interactive training series that will help you prepare for those all-important virtual interviews.
