Christie's Education Presents: How Auction Houses Work

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at an
auction house? Come enjoy this presentation on the history
of Christie’s and how auction houses work to see if it might
be a career path for you.
The presentation will also include information on Christie’s
Education’s graduate programs. Our programs open doors
into a variety of career paths from the full range of positions
in the auction house to galleries, private collections, art
advisory and art finance.

Meron Benti has been involved in Umoja and Geovany Martinez has been involved in Distinguished Men of Color. Come through to learn about how to find & fund your winter/summer experiences. First-Year Internship Workshop

In collaboration with the Center for Careers and Internships, the First-Year Committee will be holding a First-Year Internship Workshop for the Class of 2022(.5). The event will take place in Hillcrest 103 from 6-8 PM on Monday, February 25. The goal of the event is to provide students with hands-on assistance from CCI Advisors and Peer Advisors so they can finish their internship applications and submit them on time.

Careers in Law: Alumni Conversation with Crystal C. Correa '08, Assistant United States Attorney in Springfield, IL

Come to this informal lunch session to learn about her career path in law. At Middlebury, Crystal received a BA in American Literature, and a Minor in Russian Language. She currently prosecutes cases involving narcotics, firearms, crimes of violence, crimes against children and white collar fraud. She is developing a juvenile outreach program to educate youth and address crime in Springfield, and is the co-chair of Central Illinois Human Trafficking Task Force. Bring your questions.

Open to students of all class years, any major, all are welcome. A light lunch will be available.
