The Power of Bystanders: Reflections on Green Dot

Join Dr. Dorothy J. Edwards, author of the Green Dot etc. Violence Prevention Strategy, to reflect on the power of bystanders one year after Middlebury became a Green Dot campus. Dr. Edwards has worked in primary prevention, capacity building, and community mobilization throughout her career and currently intersects with the military, non-profits, communities, high schools, and colleges from around the globe as Executive Director of Green Dot, etc.

Consent Fest

A consent-themed carnival to increase awareness of sexual assault statistics and issues, as well as broaden the scope of knowledge that students have regarding their resources, from Title IX to counseling. Students will learn more about healthy communication, and about healthy and enthusiastic consent, both sexual and non-sexual.

No special clothes, shoes, mats, or props required. Come as you are and get ready to release some tension, stretch, and breathe to celebrate the last day of classes.
