Supporting Students through Challenges: Workshop Series

This 6-week, one hour per week, workshop series will help participants support students struggling with overwhelming emotions or behaviors (e.g. alcohol and other drug misuse, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, disordered eating, loss/grief, difficulty with belonging.) Workshop participants will be trained in: recognizing and describing mental health concerns, responding to students with empathy and making effective referrals to support services as needed. No previous training in mental health is required to attend.
