Every Thursday from 1:00–2:00 PM in the Holland Center kitchen, join us to sip your way around the world and explore how coffee brings people together. We’ll primarily brew with V60 pour-overs and French press, with a little Chemex and the occasional espresso along the way. Our beans are sourced from one of Monterey County’s finest roasters, Captain + Stoker, featuring locally roasted coffees grown across Latin America and Africa. Please join EPM Chair Professor Jason Scorse for an open discussion of the New York Times bestselling novel Abundance by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson. The authors propose a politics of abundance as the solution to many of the systemic challenges in the U.S., from affordable housing to climate change. We would love to have an open discussion about the book’s main ideas and their implications for driving innovation in the U.S.

The Middlebury Institute student chapter of the Institute of Nuclear Material Management is hosting a trip to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory!
