The CTBTO Youth Group is composed of next generation members who seek the entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. We will be holding a club meeting to discuss forthcoming events and how members can be active in the MIIS and global CTBTO Youth Group chapters.

The CTBTO Youth Group will hold a Happy Hour Fundraiser at Bull and Bear from 4:00pm to close on Thursday, November 16th. Bring your MIIS student IDs for 20% off food and drink specials all night.

Join us for the first meeting of the CTBTO Youth Group MIIS chapter in 2018! We will discuss our planned activities for spring semester, as well as your goals and proposals.

Guest Speaker, Brig. Feroz Khan (Professor at NPS) will be discussing the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty in the South Asian context.

Will Caput is a technical adviser in the Information Technology space who specializes in network security and risk. His security-related experience includes attack & penetration, network security, wireless network infrastructure security, social engineering and physical security assessments, and security training, among others. He currently works at Build.com, where he manages all security-related projects.

Dr. Herb Lin is senior research scholar for cyber policy and security at the Center for International Security and Cooperation and Hank J. Holland Fellow in Cyber Policy and Security at the Hoover Institution, both at Stanford University. His research interests relate broadly to policy-related dimensions of cybersecurity and cyberspace, and he is particularly interested in and knowledgeable about the use of offensive operations in cyberspace, especially as instruments of national policy.

The Conference Funding Symposium will offer a chance for all students to learn about the various conferences that their peers attended throughout the year.
