Watercolor Painting Workshop

Practice watercolor techniques and work on a step-by-step painting while hanging out with fellow MIIS people! No prior experience necessary.

Recommended supplies:
Watercolor Paper
Watercolor Paints (at least primary colors)
1-2 Brushes (flexible 1 -1½ inch bristles are preferable)
Small towel or paper towels
Q-tips or tissues (for blotting)
Container for water

Volunteer River Cleanup with Peace Corps Club

During the October River Health Day, we will be watering and weeding native plants and removing invasive plants along the banks of the San Lorenzo River to improve biodiversity and habitat complexity in the river ecosystem.

Gloves, tools and light refreshments provided. We recommend that all volunteers dress in comfortable gardening clothes, include long pants, socks and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Bring layers, sun protection and a reusable water bottle.
