Town Hall for TESOL/TFL students to discuss student concerns and happenings in the TESOL/TFL program, hosted by the TESOL/TFL Student Council Representative

The Terrorism Studies Club (TSC) is excited to host the first off campus happy hour of the year! All students are invited to join us at the Bull and Bear Taphouse for a fun evening of socializing and meeting others in their cohort.

Tech for Good will be getting together to discuss upcoming events in the spring such as the annual Hackathon as well as watching a new, award-nominated film about the importance of tech in solving the world’s biggest problems.

Team Herbivore is planning its 2nd event of the semester! Join us after the thanksgiving break to share your holiday traditions and get back together after a week away from campus. We would love to see people bring a specialty from their country and share the recipe with us all - we should take advantage of the culture here at MIIS, right? See you all soon!

Do you want to discover creative and fun vegetarian / vegan food? Come to Team Herbivore’s very first club meeting and join us for some food and refreshments right on campus. We will introduce you to the new club, the events and activities planned for the semester and have a fun social event after the meeting to kick-off our future club activities. We cannot wait to share our ideas and recipes with you all!

OK, so we’re stretching the definition of a “tabletop” game a little, but we figured you wouldn’t mind. Join us for an end-of-semester pizza party Smash-tacular and play the new Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch the day it comes out! We’ll also have all of our huge collection of board and party games available to play, plus pizza and snacks!

Welcome to the spring 2019 semester, students! Come by Holland Patio for a sweet treat and cup of coffee or tea, provided by Student Services. Open to MIIS students only.

Finding ways to live more sustainable through our agricultural practices and by using everyday materials found in our garden and the local supermarket is one of the main goals of our club. Personal care products such as lotions and soaps are responsible for large amounts of waste generation. Many products can be made using garden herbs or essential oils and many goods found at Whole Foods. This will be a learning seminar and if all goes well each participant can go home with their own bar of soap and knowledge about how to make other personal care goods.
