Impact Lab will be hosting a Consulting 101 lecture to introduce students to the concepts and practices of the consulting industry. Students can learn how their skills and interests can be of use on consulting projects. Student may be able to join a new or continuing consulting project.

Join us for an info session with immigration attorney Alexander Carl, partner at Bolour / Carl Immigration Group, APC. He will give information for international students who want to stay in the U.S. after graduation and answer any questions students may have regarding immigration.

In collaboration with the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center and the Coalition to End Human Trafficking, MIIS Amnesty International presents Human Rights at Home and Abroad: Human Trafficking. Join us and our guest speaker, Deborah Pembrook, who has extensive experience with the subject of human trafficking, especially within the Peninsula. After a brief introduction to the topic and tips on how to empower survivors, there will be a brief discussion with the audience.

If you are interested in joining any Honors Societies or to help establish an Honors Society, join us for our meeting. We will give an update on our activities during the semester and help you understand the great benefits that you can enjoy through joining an Honor Society. This will be an informal and quick meeting!! We will also choose the members of the Board of Directors to include the President and Treasurer. If you are interested in serving in a leadership role or have any questions, please contact the President, James Smith, at jamess@miis.edu.
