Transforming Old Tees into Totes! Join us for a fun-filled event where we’ll breathe new life into old t-shirts by turning them into tote bags. Whether you bring your own shirts or pick from our thrifted collection, get ready for a Earth Week event of creativity and eco-friendly fashion!

Join in on the fun for a night of games, snacks, and friendships! Tabletop Gaming Club welcomes all who are interested in the hobby to enjoy the experience together. We have a diverse collection of board and card games, ranging from jolly cooperation games to intriguing competitive games, and from hilarious party games to challenging strategy games. You are more than welcome to bring your own favorite game to play. See you at the table!

The MIIS community has a unique opportunity to help shape the future of student leadership at the Institute. The Student Leadership Task Force will be meeting at this time to discuss successful structures of student governance at other graduate schools, brainstorm ideas on how to ensure a strong student voice without burnout, and how to promote effective, accountable and representative elected student leadership. All members of the MIIS community are welcome to join this meeting!

April 8 is solar eclipse day! Though we could see the total eclipse here in California, we can all enjoy playing the board game Eclipse at the Library! It’s one of the best 4X strategy board games out there, and we plan to have multiple games, so feel free to join us at any time!

The Easter is coming! We’ll watch a wonderful musical called Jesus to celebrate the Easter Sunday, with nice afternoon tea in school library.

We are doing things differently this week – instead of board games, we will be playing video games instead! Come and join us in playing games like PlateUp!, Overcooked, and Mario Party. As always, we will have board games to play as well.

This week’s game night will feature Let’s Go! To Japan, a brand-new game about planning and then going on your own dream vacation to Japan.

Join us for an evening of storytelling and reminiscing about Peace Corps service. Join us if you would like to know more about how volunteers served in various countries.

Come together for a day of environmental stewardship at our Beach Cleanup event with the Surfrider Foundation! This event is a chance to contribute to our environment while creating a bond with our community during Earth Week. Will take place at McAbee Beach on Cannery Row.

This is a hybrid meeting. Some of our members will join in online. We would need a room with zoom access where members can connect.
