Mark your calendars for the Student Activities and Student Services Fair on September 19, 4:30-6:00 PM in front of McCullough Student Center. Come learn about over 170 orgs and initiatives on campus and help us kick off the semester!  This year the Center for Community Engagement’s MiddAction Fair will also be part of this event – over 40 local non-profit organizations and schools will share opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to get involved with volunteering, social justice, and service-learning activities. go/middlink to learn more about student organizations at Midd.

Come celebrate winter with the Mountain Club on McCullough Lawn this Saturday at 1 pm! Compete for eternal glory (and a prize!) in an event lineup that has historically included ice dancing, human dogsledding and more! Delicious baked goods, snacks and plenty of hot drinks will also accompany the spectacle. Participants will form teams of 4-8 people at the event. Come with friends or on your own, we’ll have a wondrous time! Email mmc@middlebury.edu if you have any questions.

The Board of Trustees of Middlebury is pleased to announce the inauguration of Laurie L. Patton as the seventeenth president on Sunday, October 11, 2015. The inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on the main quad of the Middlebury campus. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to Virtue Field House. Live streaming of the inaugural ceremony will be available for those unable to attend in person.

Outdoors on the Main Quad (Rain location: Peterson Family Athletics Complex) On Saturday evening at 7 p.m. in celebration of the Middlebury presidential inauguration, there will be a free family-friendly concert outdoors on the Main Quad near McCullough Student Center, followed by fireworks at 9:45 p.m. behind the Peterson Family Athletics Complex. La Bottine Souriante, the traditional French Canadian folk music group with a modern twist, will open the concert with their high-energy performance.
