New Perennials is pleased to announce our first annual Radical Pamphlets Pop Up. An open airing of recently published short-form pamphlets by Middlebury students and community partners. Come listen to the authors read their works, take away (free) pamphlets, and ponder the authors’ musing on a variety of subjects—from education to equine therapy to the brilliance of nature. All welcome!

September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month! In recognition, members of the Middlebury College’s Environmental Health, Safety and Compliance (EHS)  Community will be providing hands-on fire extinguisher training throughout the month of September. Participants will have the opportunity to handle real fire extinguishers while learning to control actual fires, all under the direct supervision of trained safety personnel. These training opportunities are open to all members of the Middlebury College community.

Ever wonder what it’s like to use an actual fire extinguisher or how an AED works? The Middlebury Environmental Health and Safety Department is sponsoring opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to handle and use these integral tools for the protection of life and property found all across campus. Stop by and fight a real fire or execute a successful intervention for a patient having a cardiac event.  Booths will be set up outside various dinning facilities on campus.

Get 2 scoops of your favorite Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor in either a cup or cone on McCullough lawn from 5-7pm! Flavor options include Milk & Cookies, Churray for Churros, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Lemonade Sorbet.
