“Join former MIIS Commercial Diplomacy and International MBA alumni, Ashley Beleny, for an ‘Importing 101’ seminar. Ashley will lead an exercise helping students understand how to complete an import shipment, using a hypothetical case study from Vietnam, and the technicalities and verbiage involved. Students will learn how to calculate duties on different goods under Vietnam’s GSP status and briefly review the HTS. There will also be time for a general compliance Q&A at the end of the session.”

VIRTUAL: Fulbright U.S. Student Program Alumni Panel

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities in over 140 countries to recent graduates and graduate students. Applicants for study/research awards design their own projects and will typically work with advisers at foreign universities or other institutes of higher education. The study/research awards are available in approximately 140 countries. Program requirements vary by country. The English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Programs place Fulbrighters in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers.
