Talk by French author Isaline REMY

The Alliance Française de la Péninsule de Monterey has invited French author Isaline REMY for a lecture and book signing about her book « Les Garcailles » and « northern Brittany from the 1920s to the present day ». The book is a chronicle of her ancestors, a poor family of Breton peasants composed of seven children, called Les Garçailles, that begins in the 1920s.
It is also the evocation of the arrival in mass, in the Paris region, of these Bretons who hoped to regain one day their country with pride and dignity.
