20 Years as a Houdini Effects Artist with experience in fluids simulation, rigid body dynamics, volumetrics, pyro, complex systems, crowds, pipeline development, Dr. John Hughes has worked at several leading studios such as Pixar, Weta FX, Sony Imageworks, Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios and DreamWorks.

He had key roles on major motion pictures such as Avatar: The Way of Water, The Suicide Squad, Frozen, I am Legend, Moana, Spider-Man 3, Kung Fu Panda 2, Big Hero 6, Watchmen, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and many more.
