UN SDGs in Action in Costa Rica Global Course Info Session

J-term Experience in Costa Rica: Participants will observe first-hand how different organizations are attending to challenges related to specified SDGs during on-site visits in Costa Rica.  Students will collect in-situ data, conduct interviews, and compile their notes, journal entries for their final deliverable during the spring showcase.

Jan Knippers Black Fund for the Defense of Human Rights Alumni Awards and Book Launch

Three alumni came together to honor the late MIIS professor, Dr. Jan Knippers Black, by posthumously publishing her famous musings in the newly published “Black’s Laws: Chewable Theory You Won’t Find in the Stacks”. The event will feature three alumni award recipients sharing their work promoting social change and protecting human rights at the local level.
