Digital Analytics in Marketing (UpNext)

Peter McSherry ’06 (Economics) will speak to what digital analytics is and how it is used in the industry today as well as the big trends moving forward (e.g. Big Data, Personalization, and the internet of things). Pete will highlight some of the work he is doing at Epsilon and will also speak to the marketing landscape for the various jobs you can take in this space. Students attending will gain a good understanding of the skill sets that help when first starting in the industry.

Please join Jon Danilowicz, Diplomat in Residence for New England for an information session highlighting U.S. Department of State student programs and career opportunities. Jon will highlight the Department’s Critical Language Scholarship program, student internship opportunities and the Rangel and Pickering Fellowship programs. They will also discuss Foreign and Civil Service career opportunities, including the Consular Fellows program that targets applicants with proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian and Arabic.

Creating a Social Enterprise: Careers in International Development

Join Middlebury alumnae Cara Myers ‘13 as she talks about her experiences since leaving Middlebury, what its like to start a social enterprise and lessons learned: the process of growing something organically, working with international teams, raising funds, etc. for an international NGO she founded called the Mozambique School Lunch Initiative (https://mozambiqueschoollunchinitiative.wordpress.com/). Description: The Honorable Allison Dale Burroughs is a Midd alum and United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts. She has had J-term interns the past few years. Earlier this year she was in the news for blocking Trump’s travel ban.
