All folklore is an expression of resilience. For this work in progress showing choreographer Miguel Alejandro Castillo and musician Daniella Barbarito imagine a fictional folkloric festivity inspired by the vibrancy of Venezuelan Afro-Caribbean traditions and celebrate the ongoing construction of the Venezuelan diaspora.

UpNext Consulting will provide you with an overview to learn about what it’s like to work in the field: what skills are necessary, what kinds of consulting exist and how to enter the field along with current trends. Participating alumni will share insight and advice about how to leverage your liberal arts education, what career progression looks like and how to pick the right firm.

Come to this workshop and learn the best way to tell your story in a resume. Learn about action verbs, how to format the document, what to include and what to leave out. A peer advisor will be presenting and all students are welcome. No matter if you’re just starting, or almost done, or anywhere in between. Bring your document with you and work on it during the session.
