Join us to hear about Harvard Business School. The Harvard Business School 2+2 Program is a special opportunity for students in their final year of study in all disciplines to set their business career path in motion before graduation. It combines real-world work experience of your choice with two years in the HBS MBA program. Not a economics major? Not a problem. We are looking for innovative thinkers with demonstrated leadership skills and analytical aptitude who are committed to making a real difference in the world.

Green Corps. Information Session

The mission of Green Corps is to train organizers, provide field support for today’s critical environmental campaigns, and graduate activists who possess the skills, temperament, and commitment to fight and win tomorrow’s environmental battles. It’s a one-year paid training program that includes classroom training, hands on experience running grassroots campaigns, and career placement following the program.

Google Workshop: Social Sciences as Applied to Market Research Services + Advertising Solutions

Think a Psychology or Sociology & Anthropology major wouldn’t have much relevance to a career at Google? Think again. This discussion will be in two parts; first to provide some real market examples of how social sciences are applied to market research services and advertising solutions. Jason Grout ‘07 and Caryn LoCastro ‘07 will also speak about their own experiences from Middlebury to their current roles at Google, and will discuss some of the various careers at Google that have specific relevance to someone with an academic background in social sciences (not just econ).
