Each year, the Center hosts a TILM Career Fair that attracts a wide range of the top translation, interpretation, and localization management employers in both the public and private sectors. Stanford Healthcare is recruiting for Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Korean Medical Interpreters for their Summer 2019 Internship Program. Staff interpreters will present the program and application process.

Stanford Children’s Health is recruiting for Spanish and Chinese Medical Interpreters and Translators.

Led by Professor Maria-Jesus Iglesias-Barca, this onsite course is a multidisciplinary immersive program in Northwestern Spain that offers students the opportunity to gain linguistic and cultural skills while they research and explore first-hand the rural depopulation phenomenon in Spain. The program will address the causes, effects and possible innovative sustainable solutions to this global challenge. The course will include Spanish language classes as well as experiential learning through real world activities to supplement theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
