The dancers of DANC1017 Introduction to Butoh, led by Professor Meshi Chavez, invite you to a showing of their final project for this Winter Term Course. Come join us as we explore new movements and possibilities.

Born from the connection between humans and what they call nature, a creature, named BÜSH, emerged into a world that was destined to consume them, to change. Exiled from humanity and reborn from soil, they sensed a alarming tension they wanted to understand. They were afraid for a long time, but now, they are curious…and they want to dance.

Each session is open to a maximum of 20 participants. PE credit is available for attendance at 8 classes. Previous dance experience in any form is recommended.
