J Club

Join Japanese Club for it’s first-ever Izakaya Night! Izakaya are bar-restaurant establishments very popular in Japan for their wide assortment of cheap foods and drinks. People of all ages love going to Izakaya with friends, for celebrations, nights out, and just to relax. We will have a set menu with vegetarian options. Free for all, so make sure to mark your calendars.

Join the Japanese Club for its first Life in Japan panel, moderated by Japanese Club students. Students who have studied abroad in Japan for high school, summer school, college, or students who have grown up in Japan, done volunteer programming, etc., will share their experiences with us. Following their short self-introductions, we will hold a Q&A discussion to learn more about life in Japan— from academics, sports, social life, language, etc. Free food, snacks, and tea will be catered.
