Crisis Simulation Information Session

In January Middlebury will be hosting a crisis simulation directed by current student. This info session will give prospective participants a space to ask questions about the event, learn more about the simulation, and plan out their strategy. The event will be drop in, with no set time for attendance or appointment necessary.

De-Colonizing the Rehearsal Space: Approaches to finding, establishing and nurturing the Collective in Rehearsals

Join us for a workshop, conversation and pizza with visiting artist, Antu Yacob. We’ll explore alternate rehearsal methods that disrupt the assumed hierarchical patterns in the rehearsal room. Yacob will lead us through some ways of transforming the rehearsal process to allow for true collaboration.

Palestine - Israel: History did not start on October 7

Amira Hass, Jerusalem born and daughter of two Jewish holocaust survivors,  joined Haaretz daily in 1989 and has been the paper’s correspondent in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 1993.    She lived in Gaza between 1993-1997 and since then in El-Bireh, the West Bank.   Her book “Drinking the Sea at Gaza” was published by Henry Holt in 2000.  Two other books, in various languages, are compilations of her articles in Haaretz and the Italian weekly Internazionale.

Good Talks 2024 - Election Reflection

Location: Town Hall Theater

A week after the 2024 general election, we invite you to an inter-generational community conversation. We will begin with a short panel featuring Daniza Tazabekova ’26, State Senator Ruth Hardy, and Professor Bert Johnson. Participants will then join structured small groups to discuss the election results and invite reflection on our hopes and next steps. Refreshments and snacks provided.
