The Middlebury Campus

Come join The Middlebury Campus to learn about writing for News, Local, Sports, Opinion, Arts & Culture, and Multimedia! We will have food from Haymaker and our staff will be there to talk about how our organization works and how to get involved.

Are you interested in being a part of The Campus? Do you love to read the newspaper? write? take pictures? edit? If so, join us for a meeting in Axinn 229 on Thursday 9/22 at 6pm. Light food and refreshments will be a part of the fun! No prior journalism experience necessary.

Come here from 5 Campus alums who are published authors of books and articles. Their areas of interest range from labor organizing to education to women in business and more. Some have published in notable news sources, such as the New York Times and Washington Post. Others have used their writing for innovative media and PR work. Many have done freelance work or published fiction and poetry as well. Learn about their careers in journalism, media, and writing, hear about the paths they took, and ask lots of questions.
