We’ll cover your rights and responsibilities as a borrower, break down current repayment plans (including recent changes), and explore options like consolidation, deferment, forbearance, and loan forgiveness. Whether you’re planning for graduation or already making payments, this session will help you make informed decisions about your financial future.

We will provide the most up to date information available regarding the federal loan repayment plans. We will discuss the repayment plans currently available in detail, including pros and cons of each. You will learn about loan consolidation, loan deferment, forbearance and cancellation opportunities.

Student Financial Services will be holding our bi-annual Federal Student Loan Repayment Information session where we will discuss the loan repayment plans currently available,  including eligibility requirements and the pros and cons of each. Participants will learn about loan consolidation, loan deferment, forbearance and cancellation opportunities.

Do you have Federal Student Loans? Are you graduating this semester or planning to be off-campus in your final semester? If so, we encourage you to attend the in-person, Federal Loan Exit Counseling session held by the Office of Student Financial Services. You will learn your rights and responsibilities as the consumer of a Federal student loan. We will discuss each of the various repayment options available to you, as well as the pros and cons of each so you have information about which repayment plan is best for you.
