This workshop will focus on post-completion Optional Practical Training for F-1 students graduating in May 2017. Topics include: eligibility requirements, the application process, and how to maintain F-1 status while on OPT.

This workshop will offer information about Curricular Practical Training (CPT) to F-1 students who might be interested in applying for off-campus work authorization during J-term or just learning more about this type of work authorization. Information about eligibility, the application process and maintaining status will be provided.

This workshop will focus on post-completion Optional Practical Training for F-1 students graduating in May 2017. Topics include: eligibility requirements, the application process, and how to maintain F-1 status while on OPT.

This workshop will cover information about eligibility about the different types of work authorization for F-1 students. Types of work to be discussed are on-campus employment and practical training, specifically Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT).

This extended community building session is based upon the popular Ted Talk with the same title. This fun, interactive workshop will allow to continue to make new connections at MIIS, as well as, share and learn more about your culture and others.
