On Tuesday November 28th from 12-2pm Peace Corps Clube will be hosting a Peace Corps Holiday Care Package Party to support our fellow MIIS Peace Corps Volunteers who are in their PC service right now! Let’s show them that we (RPCV’s at MIIS) support them and want them to enjoy a little box of goodies while they celebrate the holidays abroad! We hope you can help us by signing up to contribute a small, LIGHTWEIGHT, gift/donation for our fellow PCV’s!

Meeting to discuss future Peace Corps Club Events

The Peace Corps Club will be organizing on Del Monte Beach at 7am to do a beach clean-up! We will do a full trash sweep from Fisherman’s Wharf down to the hotel.

Pathways Guide Club Visit from District 101, Jack Jackson will deliver a presentation on Toastmasters Pathways education program.

Join the Outdoor Recreation Club for one last get together! If you went on an ODRC trip this year, were on the email list, or just want to learn more about how you can be a part of the club next year, we’d love to see you at this meeting. We will be be discussing potential summer activities, promoting future club leadership opportunities, and getting feedback from the MIIS community about your vision for the ODRC next year. Plus, there will be pizza (including gluten-free and dairy-free options)!

Come hang out and discuss major world issues in Spanish with natives and students. Professors and MIIS students from diverse programs will get together in a relaxed environment to talk about everything from Fair Trade to environmental sustainability to migration. There will be a topic of discussion that changes each week accompanied by a speaker who will facilitate the conversation. Teachers will be there to provide real world examples and give their points of view to enrich the conversation.
