Instructor Noemi is an avid yogi who focuses on functional and sustainable movements. Her 45 minute vinyasa-style power flows challenge through creative incorporation of breath work, core and balance. Noemi is a 200-hr Certified Yoga Teacher and has completed two Trauma-Informed Yoga Trainings and several Recovery-Oriented Mindfulness and Yoga trainings. Join her on Sundays and Wednesdays for Vinyasa Flow! (open to students, staff, and faculty)

In collaboration with the MIIS Arts Club and the Institute Committee for Art in Public Places (iCAPP), take a breather and learn how to use art skills as a way to reduce stress and increase mindfulness in this workshop! You will hear testimonies from students about how this has helped them and there will be a hands-on activity planned, so stay tuned for materials!

WCAPS x Shades Black History Month Versuz Competition is inspired by the original Versuz webseries in which musical artists go head-to-head in playlist curation based on their body of work. For the MIIS competition, students, staff, and faculty sign up to compete across various genres of music influenced and created by folx of the African diaspora. From jazz to reggae to rap and more, this competition allows competitors to show off their musical chops and allows the MIIS community to celebrate the impact of Black music on our collective cultural landscape.
