“A Life of Service”; An interview with Dr. William Green, Minister Counselor (retired), US Dept. of State, Office of Medical Services hosted jointly by TSC and WIIS Club. Recipient of the Diplomatic Security Service Director’s Award (2001) for contribution to the development of the WMD Program used worldwide to protect US Embassies and domestic diplomatic facilities. Dr. Green served with the US Dept. of State from 1999-2015 in locations such as Nigeria, Serbia, Austria, Afghanistan, and Washington DC.

Immigration in Monterey County and Deferred Action Application Session

Did you know Monterey County tops the United States with the highest percentage of deportation cases? Immigration Attorney and local activist Blanca Zarazua will present on the state of local immigration issues and present Obama’s Deferred Action legislation. Event is open to the MIIS and open Monterey community. Those eligible to apply for Deferred Action are especially welcomed to attend.
