Staff Advisory Team- MIIS

The Staff Advisory Team invites all staff and faculty to join our annual Summer Kick Off Picnic at the Pierce Street Promenade. Enjoy tacos, games, raffles, and good company!

Celebrate love, community, and friendship at our special Valentine’s Day event. Indulge in a variety of Valentine’s-themed refreshments and participate in fun games and activities like creating your own mini flower bouquet. SAT will be hosting an open meeting for staff and faculty to introduce Dr. Rebecca Gleason, our new EAP on-campus counselor, and learn more about her role and EAP resources available to all MIIS employees. Gen Habeck from Invest EAP will join the meeting remotely to help with introductions and in answering questions. The meeting will be held hybrid, with options to join on-site or online. We plan to invite on-site attendees to bring their own lunch, and will offer some snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for attendees as well.

Hannah will discuss the do’s and don’ts in preparing for the 2024 election year.

Please join Middlebury’s General Counsel, Hannah Ross, as she discusses the recent Supreme Court decision on affirmative action in college admissions. She will offer an overview about what it is, why it matters, the impact on Middlebury and MIIS, and other important considerations.  There will be opportunities to ask questions and have an interactive discussion.
