Do The Math: Bill McKibben on Divestment

In response to a surge in student activism and the recent announcement from Middlebury College President Ronald Liebowitz that the school will initiate a process to investigate divestment, Middlebury students will host “Midd Does The Math,” an event featuring Bill McKibben and special guests. Sunday Night Environmental Group Weekly Meeting

Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG) is a non-hierarchical student org committed to climate and social justice activism. In the past we have pushed the college to divest from fossil fuels, passed anti-fossil fuel infrastructure resolutions in town, trained students on methods of non-violent direct action, occupied the statehouse, organized climate strikes, and so much more. We strive to ground our work in anti-racism, indigenous sovereignty, and community power. We meet in person every Sunday night from 8:00-9:00 pm. All are welcome regardless of prior knowledge or experience.
