Come join the Swing Dance club and learn how to dance! Over the course of the semester, we’ll learn the basics of different types of swing dance including jitterbug, lindy hop, and charleston. No partner or experience required. The lessons build off of each other, but please drop in any time.

Come learn a line dance from the jazz era of music and dancing! *Dancers of all levels welcome, no experience or partner necessary.* The Swing Dance Club invites you to learn the Shim Sham, a line dance that evolved in the dance halls of Harlem during the late 1920s, and is traditionally danced to the song “Tain’t What You Do” by Jimmy Lunceford.

Come join the Swing Dance club to learn more advanced dance moves and routines, and build off of what you learned in our basic lessons! Open to anyone who has completed our beginner track or has prior experience, please feel free to come for the entire semester or just when the mood hits you.
