We invite all members of the Middlebury College community, guests, and members of the public as we celebrate the academic and creative endeavors of Middlebury students. Friday, April 21 will feature oral presentations, poster presentations and displays throughout the day in McCardell Bicentennial Hall. Student presenters include all four classes at Middlebury and all fields of academic scholarship.

Talk with Ed Johnson, PhD (Physics, Oxford University) and Rhodes Scholar (1981). Focus on graduate science study in the UK, Rhodes and other competitive British scholarships for science students.

Learn about internships, volunteering and employment on and off campus this summer! The Student Employment Office will provide information about finding a job on campus, the costs of living on campus (including housing and food options), and important deadlines. The Center for Careers & internships will provide information on finding or creating an internship, the Center for Community Engagement will provide information on how to find an opportunity for volunteering and the Undergraduate Research Office will provide information on working as a summer research assistant.

Learn about different summer research opportunities from Middlebury students who have participated in programs. Opportunities available in multiple disciplines. Programs discussed include Amgen, C3, Middlebury, REUs, SURF and application processes. For more info see go.middlebury.edu/uro
