Midd alumni from BCE Consulting are hosting an informational session and case study on BCE’s work and the upcoming analyst and intern roles they are recruiting for starting in 2027.
In this interactive workshop, you can discover how to translate the skills you are already developing in the social sciences and humanities to different industries in consulting. You will learn about the day-to-day work of an analyst at BCE, develop a research framework, and analyze and synthesize data to produce meaningful results.

Brick by Brick: The Life and Career of Michelangelo Lovelace

In this lecture, Dr. Jeffrey Katzin of the Akron Art Museum will share insights gained from his experience curating the exhibition Michelangelo Lovelace: Art Saved My Life, which debuted in Akron and is now on view at the Middlebury College Museum of Art. Katzin will discuss Lovelace’s intensively dedicated fusion of art and life, his simplified but powerful style, and his resonant approaches to politics and Black identity.

Join this event to learn more about what it is like to be a speechwriter and work in politics and on campaigns. Julian served as Political Director for Zohran Mamdani’s NYC Mayor campaign and previously worked in the New York State Executive Chamber as Senior Speechwriter. He also managed Jerry Nadler for Congress as Campaign Manager and held roles in the Office of Congressman Jerry Nadler, including Press Secretary, Speechwriter, and Deputy Press Secretary. He also served on the House Judiciary Committee as a Professional Staff Member and Staff Assistant.
