  • Fall Family Weekend: Career Connections

    The Center for Careers and Internships and the Family Philanthropy Circle have teamed up to host a networking event for students.  A strong liberal arts experience is most successful when we can connect students with mentors and industry experts to offer guidance and expertise. Members of the Family Philanthropy Circle have volunteered to share their insights and professional pathways with bright and talented Middlebury students.

    The 30th Annual First Show - The Truth Remixed

    A Night of Scenes, Comedy, and Lots of Fun!

    What happens when you take classic themes, original voices, and a whole lot of creativity — and toss them into one wildly entertaining night of theatre? You get The Truth Remixed. Also, this is the sister show to Echoes of Truth First Year show in Fall 2024.

    Cocoon

    Inspired by the popular storytelling phenomenon The Moth, Cocoon is a special evening of true stories told live without notes. This year’s storytellers include Hafez Sami-Sadeghi ’28.5; faculty members James Fitzsimmons (Anthropology) and Jerry Philogene, (Black Studies); Director of Middlebury’s Abenaki School Jesse Bowman Bruchac, and three-time Moth GrandSLAM champion and educator Dr. Christine Gentry. They’ll all be telling stories on the theme “Before I Die,” in association with the public art installation in the lower lobby.

    Before I Die

    This interactive public art installation invites members of the Middlebury community to reflect on what matters most. By sharing personal hopes and aspirations on a communal wall, the project fosters connection, introspection, and a celebration of our shared humanity. Inspired by the global Before I Die project, this installation transforms public space into a canvas for gratitude, memory, and possibility.
