Courtney Brewster

My name is Courtney Brewster, and I am from Castleton, VT. I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in substance use and counseling from Colby-Sawyer College. I am now pursuing my first-year in the master’s in social work program from the University of Vermont.

I have experience supporting families who have children with disabilities to access necessary services and supporting college students with intellectual/learning disabilities in navigating independent living skills and reaching their academic goals. I also have experience supporting children’s socio-emotional needs in a school clinical setting. At Middlebury, I am interested in learning outreach strategies, various clinical approaches, and community building initiatives centering around mental and well-being health for college students.

In my free time, I enjoy being active outdoors, playing sports, reading, all kinds of arts/crafts, and spending time with family and friends!
