My name is Eden Metzger, and I use she/her pronouns. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Vermont, and am completing my field practicum with Middlebury College’s Health & Wellness Education program. Before beginning my MSW, I worked as a design researcher, where I developed a strong interest in understanding people’s experiences, listening to their stories, and using research to help create more equitable and responsive systems. I’m especially interested in community advocacy and social justice, and I’m excited to explore how these interests intersect with health, wellness, and student life. I’m looking forward to learning from the Middlebury community and developing my skills as a social worker while contributing to the Health & Wellness Education team.
Outside of school and work, I love exploring new places and finding good food, whether that means cooking something new, discovering a restaurant, or wandering around a new city. I’m also passionate about my music collection, film, and creative projects, and I’m always looking for opportunities to bring creativity and curiosity into my life. I’m excited to be at Middlebury and to get to know the students and community here!
