Brad Nadeau is the Director of Athletic Communications for the college, handling all publicity for the school’s 31 varsity athletic teams. He also manages all media requests, while maintaining day-to-day operations of the office as well as gomidd.com.

Since his arrival on campus in the fall of ’94, he has served as the host SID for well over 60 NESCAC, ECAC and NCAA Tournament contests or regionals. Among those tournaments were the ’95, ’97, ’02 and ’05 NCAA Men’s Hockey Championships, the ’04 and ’09 NCAA Women’s Hockey Championship, as well as the ’01 and ’13 NCAA Skiing Championships.

The school has also enjoyed some impressive national media exposure with 14 “Faces in the Crowd” in Sports Illustrated as well as several articles in the Boston Globe and USA Today. Middlebury was also the feature of a one-page article highlighting the school’s facilities in Sports Illustrated in November of ’98, while being the feature for a Rick Reilly column in March of 2003. The Reilly column sparked a visit to campus from ESPN in September of 2003 for a SportsCenter feature. ESPN returned to campus in the fall of ’10 to update the story on an “E60” feature.

Brad served as the President for ECAC-SIDA (Sports Information Directors Association) in 2014-15, and has served on numerous panels over the years. He is also a member of Co-SIDA, where he served on the membership services committee.

A ’94 graduate of the University of Maine, Brad was part of the broadcast team for the University of Maine men’s basketball team during his final two years. The games were carried on WZON Radio in Bangor, Maine, a commercial station owned by Stephen King.
