David has three decades of experience advancing the interests of mission-driven institutions and has built programs clarifying their value in the world and bringing deeper engagement with stakeholders. He has led communications and marketing teams, and divisions specializing in campaign communications, at Hampshire, MIT, and Dartmouth. As a consultant, including a term as vice president of strategic communications for the international firm Grenzebach Glier and Associates, he advised nonprofits in the cultural, healthcare, charitable, and higher education sectors, working with the New York Philharmonic, Jackson Laboratory, United Way, Business School Lausanne, University of Calgary, and others. He has been on the faculty of CASE’s Summer Institute in Communications and Marketing since 1997 and is a member of the board of directors of The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research, where he serves as secretary, and a trustee of the philanthropic organization JourneyGives.
