Kristina Simmons

Kristina Simmons brings a diversity of experience to her role as project manager. After getting a BA in history from Harvard, she taught English to adults in Germany and Tanzania and history to high school students in Massachusetts. She moved to Vermont to pursue her M.Ed. over 30 years ago and never looked back! After working in the world of educational publishing, she got her MS in Library Science from Syracuse, working as systems cataloger and course content developer. She joined Middlebury College’s Department of Event Management over 15 years ago as a systems administrator and academic ceremony coordinator.

Kristina works in tandem with Project Manager Chad Conant to scope, schedule, coordinate resources, and manage the wide array of digital, video, and print projects that the Office of Communications and Marketing produces. She works closely with clients, colleagues, and vendors to deliver high quality results on time and on budget. 

In her spare time, she reads, travels, hikes, bakes and hangs with her family, friends, and animals. Kristina is a longtime library trustee of the Cornwall Free Library.
