Profile of <span>George C. Lee II ’88</span>

George Cabot Lee II ’88, P’20 is chairman of the Global Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Group (TMT) at Goldman Sachs and is also the chief information officer for the firm’s investment banking division. In 2008, when he was cohead of the TMT, Forbes included Lee on its “Midas List” of top technology dealmakers and investors. He divides his time between New York and Tiburon, California, with extensive travel abroad, particularly to Asia. An avid sportsman who enjoys skiing, hiking, tennis, running, and lacrosse, Lee joined the board of governors at the Monterey (now Middlebury) Institute of International Studies in 2009 and was elected to the Middlebury board in 2014. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
