William F. Truscott ’83

William F. “Ted” Truscott ’83 is the CEO of Columbia Threadneedle Investments, a leading global asset manager that provides a broad range of actively managed investment strategies and solutions for individual, institutional, and corporate clients around the world. Truscott previously was chief investment officer with Zurich Scudder Investments, Americas, and managing director of Zurich Scudder Investments. He also serves on the Investment Company Institute’s Board of Governors, as Chair of the Board of Directors of The Greater Boston Food Bank and as Chair of Boston Medical Center’s Philanthropic Trust. An East Asian studies major at Middlebury College, he attended the Middlebury Chinese School and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
