Dear Middlebury Community,

As the fall semester gets underway, we are writing with some updates about testing and vaccination opportunities on and off campus and reminders about what to do if you test positive for COVID-19.

Testing for COVID-19

Testing is an important component of our strategy to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19 on campus, and students, faculty, and staff are expected to test for COVID-19 if they are experiencing symptoms consistent with the virus or are identified as a close contact. We also recommend exposure testing and other preventative measures in accordance with CDC guidance

Antigen test kits are available for students at the Davis Family Library circulation desk and at dining hall check in, and for employees at the library and at Human Resources in the Marble Works. Self-administered PCR test kits are available for students and employees at the Davis Family Library circulation desk.

What to Do if You Test Positive for COVID-19

Students and employees who test positive for COVID-19 are required to inform Middlebury by completing the COVID-19 Test Result form. The form should be submitted for all positive results, including those from antigen, PCR, or LAMP tests taken on or off campus and from self-administered PCR tests administered through the College. Once the form is submitted, you will receive guidance about isolation and return to regular activities.

More information about testing opportunities on campus can be found on the COVID-19 testing page
