Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Students

Dear Students,

I am writing with some updates about flu vaccines, bike and car storage over break, and upcoming events.

Required Flu Vaccines

As a reminder, flu vaccines are required this year, as noted in the student health pledge. There is no charge for the flu vaccine. Please log in to your student health portal to schedule an appointment for a flu vaccine next week. There are many appointments available. In November, there will be limited access to flu vaccine appointments, so please schedule yours now!

Bike Storage and Leaving Cars for Break

For students on campus, please read through the move out email that Residential Life sent today. Note that bikes can be stored in bike rooms and in individual rooms, but please do not leave bikes in outdoor racks. Please label your bike with your name, ID, and phone number.

To allow for improved security and effective snow removal, all student vehicles left on campus over the winter recess must be parked in the outer portion of the student sections (S, P and U permit rows) of the Mahaney Arts Center (MAC) parking lot. Please group vehicles together to aid the snow removal process in this area.

Workout Wednesdays

Organized workouts led by members of the College athletics coaching staff include “choosing your own challenge” workouts such as: strength, agility, speed, and resistance training. Workout Wednesdays will be offered at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on October 28, November 4 and November 11, at Virtue Field House. Sign up here and come with a friend, as a small group, or by yourself and make some new friends. Sessions are open to students of all levels of fitness. Attendance is limited to 35 total people per session, and all COVID-19 protocols must be followed, including required face coverings, hand hygiene, and physical distancing.

First-Year Wiffle ball Games

Starting Thursday October 30, Wiffle ball for first-year students will be offered from 8:30 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays in Virtue Field House. There is space for 30 students in each session, and a sign up will be available next week.
