The Knoll hires current Middlebury College students as Interns for the summer and the academic year. Academic year positions start in the spring and continue into the following fall.

We typically open the application process in January for both positions.

Applications are not yet open for the Knoll Summer Intern position, as much is yet unclear about summer. Summer interns typically work 30-35/week during the 15-16 week summer period. For a rough sense of the position as we have posted it in the past, you can read a draft description of the position here. Please note that this is very much subject to change.

We have closed the search for 2021 Spring/Fall Knoll Interns.

The Knoll, as a part of Middlebury College, is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, political orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. We strongly encourage applications from people of color, people from working class backgrounds, women, LGBTQIA people, or those who are members of other marginalized communities. Data shows that women and BIPOC candidates more frequently do not apply to a job because they don’t feel that they meet all of the qualifications listed. Our job descriptions are general overviews, not a mandatory comprehensive list. If you feel passionate about our efforts and believe that you have the skills to succeed in this role, we want to hear from you! While we typically welcome and cherish volunteers from our broader community, due to COVID-19 restrictions, all programming at the Knoll is available only to current Middlebury students at this time.
