The Sustainability Solutions Lab (SSL) aims to provide students with an experience of professional development while working on sustainability-oriented projects throughout the campus and greater Middlebury community.

At the heart of the SSL are students working with faculty, staff, and field experts to define and solve some of our greatest challenges while shaping Middlebury’s sustainability journey.

SSL interns have been instrumental in the creation and evolution of initiatives like Energy2028, greening of athletics, advancing sustainability abroad, sustainable design and construction, sustainable living, an on-campus student consultancy, and many others.

Interested in a paid internship with the SSL? We hire at the beginning of every semester, including the summer. Write to gogreen@middlebury.edu to apply.
