Engaged Listening
The Engaged Listening Project seeks to enhance dialogue in and out of the classroom. We have designed a new format for visiting speakers, supported the Campus newspaper’s Off-Campus Podcast, and worked with student clubs. Each semester, a cohort of faculty fellows experiment with new teaching techniques that seek to enhance respectful, wide-ranging discussion.

In addition, please talk to one of the many Middlebury colleagues involved in the EL Fellows program. The faculty director in 2020-21 is Sarah Stroup (sstroup@middlebury.edu). You can also reach out to current and former faculty fellows (listed here).
