The Samson Student Center is a hub of student activity. It's perfect for grabbing a bite to eat, meeting to discuss group projects, or studying. Every month Student Council hosts a Friday evening social hour on the Samson Patio.
The Samson Student Center was also designed and constructed as a green building, one of the first of its kind in the Monterey area. The building boasts such features as rooftop photovoltaic cells, filtration systems for rainwater and waste water, and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) lumber, earning it LEED-Silver Equivalent certification.
Sustainable Campus Guide: At the Samson Center, you can buy Fair Trade coffee from the World Cafe, or fill your water bottle with hot or cold filtered water. There are also bike racks located outside next to the parking lot.
