Tickets on chartered buses to Boston, New York City, and Burlington International Airport may be purchased through the Box Office for most campus breaks.

The Student Government Association sponsors subsidized bus transportation for most campus breaks that is open to all students.   Buses will run from Burlington Airport, NY White Plains/Penn Station/Ridgewood,NJ, and Logan Airport, South Station, Boston, MA and Hookset, NH

Students should not board buses if they have been exposed to COVID19, or are having any symptoms.  The current policy is that face coverings are required while onboard, and passengers will need to remain in their assigned seats.  

All reservations are for a specific bus, and late arrivals, transfers, or changed buses may not be allowed. 
No refunds will be given, but the Box Office may be able to exchange for different departure time.  Please direct questions to boxoffice@middlebury.edu

All break buses depart from Adirondack Circle on campus. 

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure—the bus will not wait for you.
  • No tickets are issued; the rider’s name will be on a roster.

 

From White Plains NY, Penn Station NYC, Ridgewood NJ

Trip Information:

Passengers – arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to board the bus. The bus leaves on time.

Departure: from White Plains Metro North Station (Ferris Avenue southbound between Water and New St.).

First stop: Penn Station – 8th Avenue side at 31st St.

Second stop: Ridgewood, NJ Park & Ride at approximately 45 minutes after Penn station. The northbound stop is on the northbound side of Rt. 17 and there is a foot bridge over Rt. 17 to access it from the parking lot. You should be dropped off in the parking lot and go across the bridge to the Northbound side.

Middlebury is approximately 4.5 hours after Ridgewood.

  • Transfer of ticket to a different student is not permitted.
  • Ticket sales are for Middlebury Students only.
  • Guests are not permitted, due to limited seats and the lack of return buses.

 

From Logan Airport MA, South Station, Boston MA and Hookset, NH

Passengers – arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to board the bus. The bus leaves on
time. It will not wait for you, please allow time for baggage
claim.

Departure: Logan International Airport Terminal B (open to the sky area half way around horseshoe) on the arrivals (lower) level.

First stop: South Station (approx. 15 minutes after airport departure). South Station, Atlantic Avenue side – near East Street cross street.

Second stop: Target parking lot near Hooksett, NH off of Route 93 at exit 10. Pickup at Target should be about an hour after the Boston departure. The trip takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours to arrive at Middlebury. The bus company is Premier Coach.

Burlington Airport 

The bus will not wait - please allow time for baggage claim.

All reservations are for a specific bus, and late arrivals, transfers, or changing buses may not be allowed due to reserved seats and social distancing. Please contact Doug Connelly dconnelly@middlebury.edu if you have a late arrival or miss a connection.

**All buses are scheduled to arrive for COVID Testing before 8:00 pm.
This should be prioritized, or personal travel arrangements may need to be made. We know there will be a few late arrivals to Burlington, and will do our best to support.
