Transportation

How people move around has a significant impact on the environment. We support many transportation options- including the popular Snow Bowl shuttle bus, buses to major cities during college breaks, Zipcars, and creative programs such as the student run bike shop.
Zipcar
ZipCars are available to Middlebury College students, faculty and staff on an hourly and daily rental basis. Currently, the College has two Toyota Prius hybrid vehicles available.
Click here for more information about the program and how to sign up for a Middlebury ZipCar account.
Midd Rides
Midd Rides is an evening transportation service available to Middlebury College Community members. It operates each night during the academic year when classes are in session (September - May).
Sunday – Thursday 7:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Friday & Saturday 8:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.

Ride Sharing
Offer a ride, look for a ride - an online database for Middlebury College students, faculty and staff to share information about the occasional availability of ride sharing to destinations near and far from campus.
Vermont Rideshare is available to Addison County workers through the Chittenden County Transportation Authority. It offers a free, computer generated matchlist of names, phone numbers and schedules of neighbors who want to share a ride to and from their workplaces.
They also offer a free emergency ride home program if you participate in carpooling two or more days per week. Learn more at: Go Vermont
